Xerox
Carlos Pascual

Carlos Pascual is president of United States Customer Operations and a corporate senior vice president of Xerox Corporation.  He was appointed to this position in August 1995.

Pascual's responsibilities include marketing and delivering Xerox products and services as well as ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the United States.

Pascual joined Xerox in Spain in 1968 and began his carrer as a marketing product specialist, ultimately becoming general manager of Rank Xerox Spain in 1979 and holding that position until 1983.  Rank Xerox is a joint venture between Xerox and the Rank Organization, which makes Xerox products throughout Europe and parts of Asia and Africa.

In 1983, Pascual was named director, OfficeSystems Division, in Rank Xerox Ltd. International Headquarters in London.  Three years later he became vice president and general manager of Xerox Regional Operations in Stanford CT.  In 1991, Carlos was named managing director of Rank Xerox France in Paris and more recently since October 1993, was president and general manager of America's Customer Operations, manufacturing and marketing Xerox products in more than 30 countries in South America, Central America, the Carribbean, Canada, Hong Kong and China.

Pascual was born Nov. 10, 1945, Malaga, Spain.  He received a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering from the Telecommunications Engineering School, University of Madrid in 1968.  Pascual serves on the board for the United States Chamber of Commerce.  He and his wife, Lourdes Soria, reside in Weston, CT.

Graciela A. Rogerio

Graciela Rogerio is the medical producer for the leading local news team in the country, Eyewitness News at WABC-TV in New York City, Ms Rogerio is on the forefront of the medical news.  For more than a dozen years, she and Dr. Jay Adlersberg, the medical reporter for Eyewitness News, have teamed together to produce daily reports and special features on medicine for WABC's nightly newscast at 5 and 11pm.

Before joining WABC-TV in 1981, Ms Rogerio was a writer and producer at WNEW-TV Channel 5 in New York City, where she rose to become the producer of the Ten O'Clock News for the last two years of her tenure there.

In 1988, Ms. Rogerio was one of the 12 journalist chosen for a William Benton Fellowship at the University of Chicago, where she selected medicine, theology and history as her study subjects.

Ms. Rogerio served on the Board of Directors for the Hispanic AIDS Forum for eight years, RBI-Reviving Baseball in the Inner Cities and the Women's Shelter at the Society for Ethical Culture.  A native of Texas, she is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

Louis A. Berrios, Jr.

Louis Berrios, Jr. has contributed almost nineteen years of service to Bell Atlantic.   He serves as the Staff Director, who has the responsibility, as corporate liaison between the Network operations and Market Area segments of the business, for integrating and developing processes and procedures for all aspects of special service delivery.

Magda N. Yrizarry

Magda Yrizarry has worked for Bell Atlantic for seven years and has held many positions.  She is the Director of Community Affairs- Brooklyn & Staten Island, where she is responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with key external shareholders and organizations.  She also directs employee volunteer initiatives, acts as liaison for service issues with key contacts, and is responsible for external communications.

Marcello E. Baca

Marcello Baca joined Brooklyn Union in 1983 after holding jobs with British Airways and Marriott Corporation.  He held various positions of increasing responsibility in several areas of the company including District Office Manager.  Currently Marcelo is the Manager of Customer Communications, responsible for the design and administration of the performance appraisal system, management assessments, competency development and career development counseling to management employees.

Camilio A. Amenedo

Camilio A. Amenedo is Vice President and Senior investment Officer for Citibank's Direct Equity Investment Program and Domestic Employee Retirement plans.  Camilio received his BS in International Finance & marketing and his MBA in Portfolio Management Finance from Long Island University.  Camilio also volunteers on the Valhalla Board of Education.

Ruben Blancovich

Ruben Blancovich is Vice President and Branch Manager in Citibank's New York Consumer Bank.  A graduate of Yale, and the University of Rochester, Ruben has been an Outstanding performer in his 3 years at Citibank, and is now managing one of the largest branches in the Bronx.  Ruben volunteers with the Read Aloud program of the NYC Public Schools.

Coloman de Hegedus

Colomon de Hegedus joined Colgate under the Mennen merger in 1992, where he was responsible for the coordination and integration of Mennen global business.  As Vice President of Caribbean and Central America, Coloman helped to realize the acquisitions of "Dominica Coconut Products" and Barbados Cosmetics Products" that doubled Colgate's size in that region. He was recently promoted as President of Africa/Middle East Division.  Coloman's experience in developing countries have proven indispensable to Colgate-Palmolive's growth and stability.

Jose Manuel Tamayo

Jose Manuel Tamayo joined Colgate in 1978 in Columbia as Supervisor in Manufacturing Operations in Oral Care.  Jose Manuel began to rise within the company through his outstanding work creating a high standard of performance based on the ISO 9000 certification and technical Manager of Colgate-Palmolive Columbia. Currently, as the Associate Director of Technology Central Europe/Russia Operations, Jose Manuel serves as the key link between Corporate technology and the Operating Division.

Juan Rosado

Juan Rosado began his career at Colgate-Palmolive in December of 1984 as Communications Supervisor in the Corporate Message Center Department where he played a vital role in its modernization to a faster electronic environment.  Currently he is the Project Manager of the Corporate Message Center.

Sara Licha Weinstein

Sara Licha Weinstein began her professional career with Colgate in the Corporate Treasury Department as Manager of Latin American Treasury and last year was promoted to Associate Director Financial Risk Management.  She has been in charge of treasury activities of Latin America Division.  Sara's major project included the design and implementation of $700 million worth of acquisition debt refinancing.

Peter Lopez

Peter Lopez joined GE Lighting in 1986 and had successively responsible assignments at Ravenna and Circleville Lamp Plants, applying information systems  for improved quality and productivity in the manufacturing process.  Peter was promoted to Technical Leader Management Information Systems in Cleveland in 1993.  Since that time, he has progressed through Information Management roles in Manufacturing, Marketing and Supply Chain Systems.  Peter was promoted to his current position as Manager, Customer Service Distribution & Supply Chain Systems in November 1997.  Peter gives back to the community by volunteering his time by tutoring inner city elementary school students and coaching youth soccer.

Dr. Irving Wladawsky-Berger

Dr. Irving Wladawsky-Berger is the General Manager of IBM's Internet Division and is responsible for IBM's Internet and Network Computing strategy and for coordinating its implementation across the company.  He joined IBM's Thomas J. Watson Research Center in 1970, where he focused on organizing technology transfer programs to move the innovations of computer science from IBM's research labs into its product divisions.

He is a member of the President's Advisory Committee on High Performance Computing and Communications, Information Technologies, and the Net Generation Internet.

Felipe Botero

Felipe Boterobegan his career working for a Mutual Fund company as a programmer.   With two years of experience, Felipe joined MetLife workforce.  His first assignment was a project to automate 1000+ sales offices.  From there he moved to the Small Business Center, developing software to support various products.  In 1989, he moved to the Pensions department to take responsibility for all Database Administration.   Felipe's 14 year tenure at MetLife has been filled with various position and with each new project he utilizes them to contribute to MetLife's success.

Ingrid S. Taveras

Ingrid Taveras began her career with NBC4 in 1997 as Production Assistant within the Creative Services Department.  Her main function is to create the on-air messages that entice viewers to tune in through her sensitivity to the issues facing the community at large to develop some of the most effective and compelling promotional spots in the industry.  Ingrid was recently promoted to Writer Producer.  Ingrid shares her time and energy in community service campaigns like "New York Cares" and the "United Way".

Pedro Lichtinger

Pedro Lichtinger joined Smith Kline in 1979 as Management Trainee in the United States, and moved through positions of increasing importance in the Animal Health division, including Marketing Manager and General Manager for Brazil and Mexico.  In 1984, Pedro became Business Development Director; Southern Hemisphere and he joined the European Operations as Area Director for Southern Europe and the U.K. in 1986.When Pfizer, Inc. acquired Smith Kline Beecham Animal Health, Pedro was Senior Vice President and Director, European Operations.  Currently, Pedro serves as Area President, European/AfMe region for the Pfizer Animal Health Group.

Alice A. Pineiro


Alice Pineiro obtained her Bachelor's degree from Brown University in 1977.  She then began to work for Parker Chapin Flattau and Klimpl from 1984-1988.  Her career at teachers Insurance and has Annuity Association College Retirement Equities Fund began in May of 1988 and continued ever since.  Alice began as the Associate Director- Mortgage and Real Estate Domestic.  After this position, she was promoted to Mortgage and Real Estate/TIAA Investments.

Jesus A. Rivera

Jesus Rivera, who is pursuing a degree in Operational management, has worked with the United Parcel Service for twelve years.  As the Area Sales Manager in Business development, Jesus coordinates the sales activity in the Fashion and Retail industries in New York City.  While completing his Bachelors degree at Manhattan College, Jesus is on the Selection Committee to recommend Bronx youth to our nation's military academies for Congressman Jose E. Serrano.
